Data Availability

We did not use individual participant-level data. Parameters values used in the model were informed from the literature as referred to in the main text or the supplementary file. The source code for OpenMalaria was developed using the C++ language and is available at https://github.com/SwissTPH/openmalaria. The analysis script was developed using the R software. All generated data and the code used for data analysis and visualization will be made available on request.
