Data Availability
The N3C Data Enclave (covid.cd2h.org/enclave) houses fully reproducible, transparent, and broadly available limited and de-identified datasets (HIPAA definitions available at https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/index.html). Enclave data can be accessed by investigators at institutions that have signed a Data Use Agreement with the NIH who have taken the required human subjects and security training and agree to the N3C User Code of Conduct. Those desiring access to the limited dataset need also supply an IRB protocol from their institution. Data access requests are reviewed by the NIH Data Access Committee.
