Data Availability
Data from SAGE Ghana Wave 2 & SAGE Mexico Wave 2 were used for this study. WHO SAGE was approved by the WHO Ethics Review Committee (reference number RPC149) with local approval from the University of Ghana Medical School Ethics and Protocol Review Committee (Ghana). The Ethics and Research Committees of the National Institute of Public health in Mexico approved the SAGE Mexico Study. All files were obtained from the World Health Organization Study on global AGEing and adult health (WHO SAGE). Details on data can be found at http://www.who.int/healthinfo/sage/cohorts/en/. The authors used files GhanaINDDataW2, GhanaHHDataW2, MexicoINDDataW2, and MexicoHHDataW2. The authors confirm that they had no special access privileges to the data.
