Data availability

All the raw sequencing data for human samples, including whole genome bisulfite sequencing, total RNA sequencing, and Hi-C sequencing, are available in the database of Genotypes and Phenotypes (dbGaP) with accession number (phs001794.v1.p1). The subject ID of each sample used in dbGaP can be found in Table S8. Some of the patients in this study were also included in our previous study and deposited under the same dbGaP subject ID (20). All the raw sequencing data for bovine samples, including whole genome bisulfite sequencing, total RNA sequencing, and Hi-C sequencing, are available in the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database with accession number (GSE251961).
