Pylorus resection versus pylorus preservation in pancreatoduodenectomy (PyloResPes): study protocol and statistical analysis plan for a German multicentre, single-blind, surgical, registry-based randomised controlled trial

Data Availability

All data of the StuDoQ|Pancreas registry are stored in pseudonymized form, and any re-identification can only be done by the treating, participating hospital. Individual participant data cannot be shared publicly because participants did not explicitly consent to the sharing of their data as per the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the corresponding German privacy laws. De-identified participant data and a data dictionary defining each field in the dataset will be made available to researchers upon formal request and receipt of a signed data sharing agreement in accordance with the data sharing policies of the LMU Munich, Germany. Data will be available through the Research Ethics Board of the LMU Munich for researchers who meet the criteria for access to confidential data and after approval of a methodologically sound research proposal.
