Data Availability

We collected daily all-cause mortality data for 7,904 municipalities in 107 provinces of Italy from the Italian Institute of Statistics; We collected the hourly ambient temperature and ambient dew point temperature from the ERA5 dataset (ERA5) (https://cds.climate.copernicus.eu/cdsapp#!/home).
