In addition, healthcare workers account for a large number of infected people. Then, protecting this population from COVID-19 seems crucial in the preservation of healthcare systems. In a context of few doses available, serological assays could be useful to decide whether one or two doses are needed. Our results show that a first dose of BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine seems to act as a boost after SARS-CoV-2 infection in healthcare workers with a previous SARS-CoV-2 infection and a second dose might not be required.Competing Interest StatementThe authors have declared no competing interest.Funding StatementNo funding for this studyAuthor DeclarationsI confirm all relevant ethical guidelines have been followed, and any necessary IRB and/or ethics committee approvals have been obtained.YesThe details of the IRB/oversight body that provided approval or exemption for the research described are given below:The trial obtained approval from the independent Ethics Committee of "Groupe Hospitalier Paris Saint Joseph" with IRB number 00012157 and was conduct in respect with Good Clinical Practice and the Declaration of Helsinki as last amended. All necessary patient/participant consent has been obtained and the appropriate institutional forms have been archived.YesI understand that all clinical trials and any other prospective interventional studies must be registered with an ICMJE-approved registry, such as ClinicalTrials.gov.
